My Approach

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already carrying so much. My hope is to create a space where you don’t have to filter yourself or carry your struggles alone. Together, we’ll slow down, better understand your experiences, and begin creating the life and relationships you want.

Why This Work Matters to Me

As a Spanish-speaking therapist, former teacher, and someone who lived and worked in China for many years, I understand how culture, family, identity, and life experiences shape the way we move through the world. Living abroad taught me firsthand about belonging, isolation, transition, and adapting to environments that constantly challenge who you are. Those experiences continue to influence how I connect with clients today.

Who I Work With

I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, family conflict, relationship concerns, identity exploration, and major life transitions. I have a particular passion for working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, and expats who have lived or worked abroad. Many of my clients have spent years taking care of others, meeting expectations, or hiding parts of themselves just to get through the day. Therapy offers a place to better understand those experiences and reconnect with who you are beneath them.

How Can We Work Together

My approach is warm, thoughtful, and trauma-informed. I integrate Brainspotting, Parts and Memory Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and attachment-focused interventions to help clients process experiences that continue to affect their lives today. Together, we’ll explore not only your symptoms, but also the experiences, relationships, and patterns that shaped them.

Healing isn’t about becoming someone different. It’s about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have always deserved to be seen, understood, and valued.
